glance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The FGU is a <strong>network<\/strong> consisting of over 200 universities, universities of applied sciences, grandes \u00e9coles and \u00e9coles in France, Germany and a number of third countries.<\/li>\n<li>You study alternately at a French and German university and at the end of your course are awarded a <strong>double degree<\/strong> (bachelor, master or PhD).<\/li>\n<li>You can choose from <strong>about 200\u00a0Franco-German degree programmes<\/strong> in 135 cities.<\/li>\n<li>You will also find some <strong>tri-national<\/strong> FGU study programmes, for example with the UK.<\/li>\n<li>FGU covers almost all fields of study:<strong> engineering, natural sciences, economics, law, social sciences and humanities, as well as teacher training, architecture and IT.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The FGU supports your stay abroad with a monthly allowance of \u20ac350.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The FGU offers you the option of taking part in free online <strong>language courses<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>FGU graduates <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dfh-ufa.org\/en\/information-for\/alumni\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>will have no problems in finding suitable employment in their chosen fields<\/strong><\/a> and in most cases they work in an international context.<\/li>\n<li>The FGU study guide <\/header>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t                            <div class=\"accordion__content\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>A French and a German university <strong>together<\/strong> offer a joint programme.<\/li>\n<li>Each of the FGU programmes is divided more or less equally between the two partner universities, which means that you <strong>study abroad for at least a whole year.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>However, thanks to the <strong>joint study and examination regulations,<\/strong> this does not extend your study time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n language skills in French and German*<\/li>\n<li>A bachelor\u2019s degree for master programmes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>* Students with a lower level of proficiency (A2-B1) can attend intensive language In Germany, students apply directly to the university.
