Marie-Curie-Symposium on the Foundations of Physical Chemistry

In order to promote scientific cooperation in Europe and serve as a nucleus of further research initiatives namely between France, Germany and Poland this meeting intends to bring some of the highest ranking European scientists as speakers together with young scientists in the field of physical chemistry. In addition, the meeting delivers a beautiful opportunity to celebrate the year 2011 as the year of chemistry and the 100th anniversary of the conferral of the Nobel Prize to Marie Curie Sklodowska. The state of the art of modern physical chemistry will be presented in selected lectures by its pioneers. Besides that all participants will have the opportunity of presenting their scientific activities in the frame of poster sessions, for which sufficient time will be attributed. The best authors will be awarded with a special prize and receive the opportunity for an oral presentation. The extended poster sessions will provide an opportunity to establish relations among all participants.
