Nutrichemicals and their regulatory influences on intracellular processes (NutriOx)

As a strong common research interest into natural substances and (their effects on) intracellular redox processes in Health and Disease exists at Saarland University on the one side, and the University of Burgundy on the other, it is natural that partners from the two Universities join forces to bring together their ideas, methods and experiences. The atelier „NutriOx“ will serve as a platform for meeting new colleagues and exchanging ideas in form of short lectures, poster sessions, free discussions, but also as catalyst for future co-operations discussed in four topical discussion fora. It will showcase internationally leading research by renowned external experts (lectures), serve as training module for PhD students, Postdocs and some undergraduates and – once more – will put Saarbrücken on the map as emerging leading centre for research into products derived from nutritional materials.
